hey guys first time posting here. I've been reading through all the posts wanted to say thanks for all the information been a great learning experience.

my setup is;
Bitfenix Colossus
Asus Maximius 4 Z68 1155
I7 2600K
16GB Corsair Vengeance
AMD/ATI Asus HD6970
120GB SSD Corsair Force Series 3
Western Digital 2TB Caviar Black.

wanted some advice on water cooling for this system.
my main problem is what size radiators am i going to need for some light overclocking.

from what I've read i can get away with a 3x120 with maintaining some quiet is that correct?

and also any advice you can give me for my first time water cooling build.

thanks for youre time

yes i looked through.
very through i will admit,

one of the problems i had was the radiators. i went through the thought of a getting 2x240 one before each component, with the pump i've got i'm sure it would be powerful enough (1200 lph variable).

is it better to chain from GPU to CPU or t-piece off to separate feeds?

It doesn't matter where you place the components in a loop, it won't make a difference in temps. The only way there would be a significant difference in water temps is if you have 4 580's chained one after the other. And even then, the difference would probably be only 5 C at most, and probably less than taht.
