Hello everyone,
Just purchased the RTX 5090 Palit Gamerock, made some tests, so far I like it.
I'd like ask you if recommended water cooling.
Never use it before, I have absolutely no idea about that.
My PC case is Corsair Graphit 780T

Mainboard is Asus Z960

Do I have enough space for a GPU water cooler?
Could anyone please help??
Thank you in advance

IF you can find a block to fit your card, yes, and your case is plenty big enough. but you should ask in the water cooling section...

Hey, congrats on the 5090, beast of a card, and the Palit Gamerock looks wild too.
So about water cooling, yes, your 780T has more than enough room for a custom loop or even a hybrid AIO GPU cooler, if one gets released for the 5090. That case was built with serious cooling in mind. You’ve got space up top and front for radiators, plus plenty of clearance for tubing and a reservoir/pump if you decide to go custom.

Now, since you’re new to water cooling, I’d suggest starting with a hybrid solution if one becomes available for the 5090 , easier setup, less risk, and you still get great temps and quieter performance. If you’re feeling adventurous later, you can go full custom loop with CPU + GPU blocks
But yeah, long story short, your hardware and case are fully ready for it. Just depends on how deep you want to go. Happy to help more if you need part recs or guidance on setup.

Thanks, Eric
Are there no AIO for the RTX 5090?
What about a good PC case ( airflow ) vs a good AIO?
Temps, noise....

Why are you considering water cooling? Are you trying to push a higher overclock and are thermally limited? Is the card too noisy?

I ask because I do custom loops on nearly every machine I own and I'll be the first to say that it's a terrible investment. You can achieve lower temps and noise, but you need adequate radiator coverage and good fans. Custom cooling is it's own hobby that you get into because you enjoy doing it, you ran out of better things to spend money on, or you just really need the last little bit of performance.

You'd likely be better off just upgrading your case fans and removing any restrictions like the front 3.5" drive bays if you aren't using them.

Okay, I'll stick with air cooling, thank you.
Would help maybe ( for GPU lower temps ) something like this ?

You want to get cool air in and hot air out as best as possible.

Looks like the fans you linked are upHere U3K3. The claimed specs are 64.6 CFM at 25dBA with 1.55mm/H2O of static pressure. Assuming you're still using the stock AF140 LED fans, they are 66.4 CFM, 25.5 dBA, but with only 0.80mm/H20.

In addition to the fact that 3x120 has more surface area than 2x140, the fans you linked having much higher static pressure will be less affected by restrictions such as the mesh front panel. So, in theory it should be able to get more air in to feed your GPU. Who knows if upHere stats are accurate. I don't see that fan in any reputable 3rd party testing. Things like Phanteks T30 and Noctua A12x25 are proven to be great performing fans, but they are much more expensive.

What are your GPU temps currently?
