Water cooling question.

I am planning my first high end build and am going to be water cooling it. I was curious if a single 360 rad would be enough for the cpu and 1 gpu? Also is it better to have a thinner rad in push pull or a thicker rad with just push?
 
I know you asked this a while ago but I figured I'd answer since no one else did.

Yes, 360 will be enough for a GPU and a CPU, I'd go with the thick rad
 
Thin radiator in push/pull will be better than a thicker radiator with only push. Assuming the fans are the same, push/pull will be slightly noisier, how much depends on the fans.
 
I'd say if you're just going for noise and looks, the 360 will be fine. If you're going for temps, it'll depend on what cpu and gpu and if you plan to OC. If you pick a notoriously hot one of each (like a 290x and an fx9370), you may not have any OC room.

As for thinner/thincker....I have no clue. Thicker would be my preference for more surface area to spread heat, but don't cheap out on your fans. Get the highest static pressure fans you can afford at a db level that meets your expectations.
 
a 360 radiator will be enough to keep things cool. Depending on your parts being used you might want to opt for a second radiator. (example 9590 and 290x)

a thin rad + push/pull is better than a Thick rad in push only.
 
Thanks for following up, i am going to hold off on watercooling my gpu since it is a gtx 770, a hold over from my current computer, and i hope to upgrade it in the near future. My parts are 4790k (thank you intel retail edge, Asus formula VII, 16 gigs of corsair vengance pro, Corsair AX860 all in a corsair 750d, Looking at probably getting the XSPC raystorm kit with the d5 photon tube res and the rx360 v3 radiator and sticking corsair sp120's on it. Worse comes to worse once i do add a gpu there are spots for a 240 radiator on the bottom or front that i can add to it.
