So, how often do you guys do maintenance on your water cooling systems? Stuff like changing out water, new tubing, or flushing.
I have a close to 95% duty cycle on my main watercooled rig and I have been replacing my clearflex and changing out my water every 6 months or so. The sediment last time was noticable because I had to wait for money/parts to fix my computer so it sat stagnant for about 4 months.
What additives do you use? How long can you run your water? Do you also have problems with your tubes hardening due to exposure to uv light and heat? What kind of water do you use? This all sounds like some really interesting infomation to me.
Everyone talks about setting up a watercooled rig, but no one ever talks about the huge pain in the ass it can be keeping it running.
