Water cooling liquid mix help

hey i am doing water cooling and i wan to hear your thoughts on this

1 gal distilled water (16cups)
10% of that gallon is anti-freee (1.6cups)

how does that sound to you guys??

i plan to use anti-freeze my friend has since besides color i'm sure which anti-freeze to use doesn't matter.

so it'll be 14.4cups of water and 1.6 cups coolant in a gallon water then put it in my system...

sound good?
 
10% of a corrosion inhibitor should be fine unless u mix metals in the loop like a copper block and a aluminum rad ect. then you want 15-20%
