I ripped my WC build down to clean it up and look for a few more degree's c. What I got was a nightmare.

With a cpu only setup using a GTZ, GTX480 pos, Laing end suction single speed want to be real pump. I was $400 bucks upset.

So I bust the system down today.
flush the rad out, look over the idiot one way bowed GTz what ever over priced metrosex over priced block. Blow the damed over priced China made rad out and it bust two tubes out. Only put 20 psi to the rad with it open. Two tubes blew out open to atmosphere.

So what next? Buy a small RTB from the company i work for or go back to heater cores?

I just can't get my head a round a 20 psi failure...... on the rad.... over priced POS......
 
Why would you blow out a rad with ANY Psi?

What were you using to generate this head pressure?

What happed. My temps have been kind of strange. I was getting strange temp swings. Si i started checking air temps on the rad. looking at water temps. Found I was only getting 1.5 maybe 2 degtee C air temps across the rad. Then they would spike to 3 to 4 c then sttle back down with a load on it. water temps doing the same thing.

So i broke the system down thats only had distilled was with a tiny bit of Honda coolant in it. Sure enough there was somwthing rattling around inside the rad. I flushed and flush. never could get it out. So I took my compressor to it with it set to 20 psi. Blew on it. The air coming out of the rad slowed down. It then made a pop noise. Something blew out, hit me in the face. I then found two of the tubes blow out in the rad.

Then to add insult to injury. I went to check the block. First screw I took out brought some thread with it. Did find some flakey looking junk in the block.

So I'm looking at a new rad and block. To say the least.

On we go! :)
