W7- wifi and LAN won't wake

I just installed W7 and finally updated all my drivers on my laptop. I'm having a problem though when my laptop goes into sleep mode. When I open it back up and turn it on, I'm unable to connect to neither my LAN nor wireless connection. It appears they don't want to "wake up". I've been into my power settings, my device settings, AND my network settings and cannot figure out what the problem is. I wind up rebooting and everything goes back to fine and dandy. Can anyone give me a bit of help?

Check for BIOS updates. It is most likely an ACPI issue.
