Is it just me or does Vsync not work in windows 7 with ATI hardware and games that don't have the in game option to use it? Even if you force it threw the ATI CCC it still does not work. My friend has an nvidia card 9800GT and when you force it threw the nvidia control panel it works. So something is not right with ATI in regards to vsync and windows 7. The game in question is BF2 btw...

seems more like an ATi driver issue than a Windows issue. Have you tried the latest Vista drivers?

ATi's vsync controls really never works from CCC. I have it on in vista and it will still not enable vsync. Your best bet is to get something like D3Doverrider which is packaged with Rivatuner.

Using Windows 7 with a Nvidia card here and Vsync work so must be an ATI drivers issue.
