voltage vrm sinks

After removing my Asus maximus formula nb chipset cooler I also removed my voltage vrm sinks. Is there any need to re-pad them before reapplying?

I didn't think thermal grease would be a good idea since it touches the board directly.

You can reapply them as they are now. The stock pads are still intact and will do an adequate job of providing contact.
