voltage for AMD 350)+ processor...

Hi i have a 3500+ processor. I currently have it clocked at 228x11. that is about 2.51 ghz. i backed it down from 230x11 just so i knew it was safe to leave on while i slept. anyway, i want to go further and see what happends. the only thing i want to ask a question on is the voltage of the processor. I know AMD recommends 1.5v and ive moved it to 1.55 volts. i get idle/load temps of 30/42. i was wondering how high you could go and be considered safe? i know as you increase the clock frequency you have to increase the core voltage for stability issues. what is a safe voltage to go up to (if there is such a thing?) i did about an hour of prime95 at the 230x11 and everything was perfect so im sure i can go higher. Ive seen some peeps hit 250x9 and such, is it gonna hurt by me being at 250x11. i know maybe i wont be able to get that high but does the multiplier effect the overclockability at all? i guess im just looking for some guideance as far as what to do next.
 
just to give you an idea I have the 2600 mobile barton and my voltage is at 1.65v thats alot higher, but I highly recommend you run Prime95 or something to make sure its stable.
 
ok can you hurt your machine by increasing the voltage? lets say i moved up to 1.6v from 1.55. as long as im getting ok temperatures i should be ok right? i can try to overclock some more and as long as i run prime95 i should be ok? is there a minimum as far as running prime95 should go? is an hour or 2 ok?
 
I recommend running prime for at least 4 hours, but you can hurt your CPU by adding voltage if you add too much and don't pay attention, (you could fry it) but if your careful you should be fine....

Looping 3dmark2k1 is a good one too, uses different parts of the CPU, includes gpu to test if pci/agp lock is ok, etc.

Anything up to 1.65 should be just fine with that chip as long as your cooling holds.

Anything over 1.7V gets into extreme overclocking, and so extreme cooling is recomended, not neccessarily needed, but definately recomended.

ok heres the deal.

I am currently at 1.65v. my idle/load temps are 35/52.

i am clocked at 232x11 or 2.551 ghz. i am able to run all benchmarks with no problems. I can run prime 95 for about an hour and then it will hault (1 time 55 minutes, 1 time 62 minutes, one time 67 minutes) it says 1 error found. "FATAL ERROR: rounding was 0.5, expected less then 0.4" what ever that means. I was reading something in prime 95 that said a flakie machine it will detect an error in a couple of minutes where as mine takes about an hour. it also says that it stresses more then anything else would so you might not notice it when playing a game or something. Im just wondering if i should back down or if there is a way to keep it where it is and go higher but find out what that error means and trouble shoot it so i can go higher. I believe my low temps are lower then the norm. I am on air cooling via a slk 948u with AS 5. any ideas what to do?
 
ok heres something strange. IM running prime 95 again but this time i have it set to where its not testing the ram so much. Its still running but its been about 3 hours with no errors. Im gonna let it go until i get home later on. If this is the case then it kinda sounds like its the ram that is causing the 1 error. What can i do to fix this?

i have corsair 3200 ddr xl pro 2-2-2-5 mem. its currently clocked at 2-3-3-6 at 464 mhz. could i lax the timings more to see if i can get the errors to stop? if so which timing should i mess with first? I have it set to 2.75 volts which is the highest my motherboard supports.
