VMware Player and Server 2008?

Anyone installed VMware Player 3.0 on Server 2008 R2?
When i try to do it, the installer errors out and tells me i can only install on XP or later. ?
 
Ok check the specs and Server 2008 R2 is supported as a host OS for both Player and Workstation.

I tried Workstation 7 and I get the same result.
