I'm Just trying to confirm that fault tolerants support is at the CPU level and not the motherboard level. We are looking at deploying some test servers that are white boxes using Supermicro's 6016T-NTRF4+ Barebones server. Its on vmwares HCL, but FT shows as "no", and if i remember correctly, FT is allowed or disallowed at the CPU level. Is this true?
