Vista reinstall tips

Well I've had a solid build for a while but since the last time I forget everything I need to do.
There's something I need to disable or do to prevent from eating like 30gb in a week don't I?

Also did anything ever come out to deal with winsxs folder? Mine's like 22GB. Seems inefficient like crazy.
