ViewSonic VX2025wm - no 1:1 mapping?

I heard that the ViewSonic VX2025wm doesn't have 1:1 pixel mapping, is this true? I'm really interested in this monitor but that kinda puts me off. How big of an impact would not having 1:1 mapping be with a widescreen? (I'm still not sure I know exactly what it does)

1:1 mapping basically makes the image the size and shape it is supposed to be

Can be a must for some; it isn't for me.
