I have a I7 920 DO OC to 3.2
12gig of Ram
Radeon 4870 X2

Looking for a good upgrade to nvidia card. Computer is used for photo work and the only gamming I do is FSX. 24 in singe monitor. The largest I will ever have would possibly be a 27 inch. FSX I'm told will preform much better with a nvidia based card. I will be keeping this rig for at least 1 more year it not longer. Thanks

How much you willing to spend?

Im thinking 560ti is around 200? not too bad and decent power.. though with the mid range (660 or whatever they call it) is coming out soon, i might would wait. Though thats probably going for 300ish like the ati 7800 series.

Its a really bad time to buy a new video card with all the new stuff coming out, just fyi.

Crazy time right now, like the above posters said.

Still, you could get a 560 ti 448/570 for less than what 660 ti will be in a month or two--whenever it decides to come out--and I'm pretty sure either will crush Flight sim >.>

There are some really good deals on the 560TI 448 core edition. Check to see if there any good deals on them in the Hotdeals section here on [H]ardocp.

I'd probably just wait a few months and see.. Hopefully AMD will drop their prices some and Nvidia will come out with the 660/670. I'm in the same boat.. Got a 5850 and waiting to see what comes out.
