Video Lag when playing 3d games.

Hey guys,

I'm having this video lag issue when playing any 3d game(heroes of newerth/cod4/tf2) Anytime theres a lot going on/I give commands too quickly the video gets really laggy. This just started in the past week. So far I've formatted three times, used a different copy of the os(7) tried putting the os on a different drive. Done all sound/video/sata drivers multiple times.SPECS: e6420@3.18(yes i've tried it at stock)
4gb ocz reaper @1092(5-5-5-15)
Antec truepower 650
bfg 260OC(@stock)
GB p35ds3l(bios F9)
cpus @ 1.375V, ram is 2.1ish
Ideas?

Btw memtest comes back clean and WD's lifeguard tool cant find an issue with any of the 4 drives i have

try running lower graphic settings and see what happens.. could be possible you are bottlenecking on something though im not sure why it would just start happening now..

yeah, thought of that and tried. No luck.

all the latest windows updates, no antivirus software, newest dx, i'm thinking its gotta be my gpu or sata controller
