Ok im really confused right now on how to get what I want when im doing video editing. What I want to do is take vob files from a dvd then find some way to change the files from vob format to something I can edit in windows movie maker or some other software. The problem Im having is that once I find software that can turn my vob files into mpeg they seriously decrade in quality and resolution. Is it possible to convert a vob file into some format that software can edit without losing quality or resolution.

hi

this is a link to Afterdawn .
It's a nice site where I got most of my experience in video-editing.
But usualy I do it the other way around. ;) from avi to dvd-format.

I have got a program at work that converts dvd into divx, with quality control.
But forgot the name.

Get back to you tomorow.Hopes this helps.

Grtz
