Hey everyone.
I am currently using an ATI video capture card to tyr and transfer vhs to dvd. In the past i did 8mm and it came out equal quality to the original and was extremely happy. Now i am trying to do vhs and i am using an svhs player with svideo and ATI MMC to capture. Now my main problem is that i want at least equal quality to the riginal and it doesnt have to be better. I can capture everything fine but when i burn i think Ulead DVD movie factory like compresses the video to the right dimensions to fit and i think that is where the problem occurs. So my questions are:
I hope somebody knows something about this.
Thankyou everyonewho helps in advance and ps. give any other info you have.\\\
THANKS!

So my questions are:
- can i get equal quality
- what kind of resolution should i use
- what settings should i use in Ulead DVM?
- does this have anything to do with interlacing and de-interlacing
- if so what should i do
I hope somebody knows something about this.
