so....wtf? i remember way back in the day when i first started visiting this site there was this big pissing contest involving [H], Nvidia, and ATI. the memories i have of this are vague as first of all it was awhile back and second i couldn't have given a rats ass. now it's kinda starting to make sense i guess.

this is kind of dissappointing because you wonder where you can get an honest opinion outside of buying 2, $500 video cards and comparing them yourself.

so if you have invested in an Nvidia card and you want to feel good about your purchase you go to a site that is partial to Nvidia.

if you want to feel good about the ATI card that you may be able to purchase in the future you go to a site that is partial to ATI.....right? i guess? wtf?

Maybe people need to stop looking at what we are reviewing and instead look at what we are reviewing ;)

sweet...i didn't think of that. i'll just get a 1800xt and then i'll be set to visit all tech sites with a feeling of manly justification. :D

Ahh memories, dont make me feel old.

I purchased a 6600GT, upgrading from a 9600 non pro, both are awesome cards.

Both companies, like car companies have put out great products over the years. And both have had stinkers.
