Basically all the advice you need has already been posted in this thread. The guy who said EP45-UD3L for $60 if you can find it used or on sale is the best bet as the P45 chipset is the best chipset to match with your Q6600. That said, the UD3L only has one PCI-E slot so you can't run crossfire. The UD3P is probably the best you could get for a Q6600 but is much pricier.
Try to see what you can do to get an at least 3GHz stable overclock on your current motherboard and if you can do that, I wouldn't bother with a new motherboard. Match that with a 5850 and you are good to go. If you can get at least 3.2GHz and up overclock on the Q6600 though, a 5870 would be a good choice as well.
