I've been monitoring a Gigabyte 570 GTX Super Overclock GV-N570SO-13I at Amazon.com for the past 3 weeks. When I started, the ad said, "Sold By Amazon" and "Just 13 left in Stock" and 3 weeks later it still says, "Just 13 left in Stock"

Personally, I would love to have that Gigabyter 570 GTX card, then sell my two 460 GTX cards and wait for the 570 GTX prices to drop to $240 or less next year and then do 2-way SLI

But at al$370 for a single 570 card I can't legitamize the expenditure when 2-way 460 GTX SLI is currently available for $100 per card (1GB version). That's $170 less than the 570.

Because of it's future SLI capabilities I'll pay $300 (shipped) for a Gigabyte 570 GTX Super Overclock GV-N570SO-13I, but not $370

How do you view the current PC graphics cards (Gaming cards)market today and what do you think the future holds?

prices are more then likely hold until AMD's 7970 hits the shelves here in a couple days. then when the 7950 hits prices on the 570/580 should drop drastically. but outside of the GTX 200 series nvidia really doesn't drop their prices until they release a new generation of cards.

Also check the FS forums, you can get a great deal on a 570 or dual 560ti's if you aren't too picky about second hand geek used items.

that makes sense, and I would think 460 GTX 1GB cards will hold resellvalue, because it's hard to beat 2-way SLI for $220 or less.

I realize resell prices depend on make/model, but what realiastic price drop are we talking about here? For example, Gigabyte's 3 fan 570GTX currently sells for $345 or there abouts.
What is the highest price you would pay, once the newest series has been released?
