Lately I've been trying to use the wonderful features of my All-in-Wonder ATI 9800. If you are familiar with the card, it has a few ports to use for audio line out, video in, audio in, etc. I normally don't use them, though.
To cut to the chase, every time I try to use video in and all of the other glorious features, the card locks up. I don't think the whole PC locks up, but it's hard to tell because the video out to the monitor just freezes. However, when I boot the PC up with the stuff plugged in, it gives me too long beeps as opposed to one, and never fully boots up.
This problem isn't too troublesome as I can get the PC to boot up after a few tries, but as of now I'm trying to do some video editing and it becomes quite annoying after a while.
My only guess as to why this is happening is the PSU. It's 450W though and works perfectly without utilizing the video card to it's full potential.
System specs:
A7N8X mobo
Coolmax 450W PSU
AMD Barton 2500+ (1.8GHz)
1 GB DDR400 RAM
80GB WesternDigital HDD
Soundblaster PCI card
Linksys Wireless card
Firewire card
(listed nearly everything in the case that they could affect the PSU)
