Took the side of my case off... fan still spinning, temperature settings = 60c. Its not moving though, the temp probe is on the gpu its self right?

Are the newest drivers borked?

This is what is was doing until I took the side off... and it miraculously fixed it... although, I have about 150cfm flowthrough on my case... ????

Either you have the worst airflow ever or your card is screwed. I would RMA it to EVGA, they will probably replace it right away for you if you are still under warranty. The temp is fine, so I think either you have a defective core or the heatsink is not making good contact with the whole gpu core. It shouldn't magically fix itself by you taking off the side panel.

Well all of my case temps are perfect, Ive got dual 120mm intake on the front, two 80mm exhaust on the back, and one 120mm exhaust above the CPU and video card...

My airflow would have to be fine... it just doesnt make sense. Also, considering all of my temps are exactly the same with the case open... Hmm?

Also, I have absolutly zero cables in the way of any of the fans, the air flows perfectly.

I would suggest applying new thermal compound and reseating the heatsink, but it looks like it's already screwed up. Time to RMA.
