video card compatibility issues?

i just bought a nw AMD 64 and Mobo and the Mobo says the AGP only supports 1.5v video cards ... i instled it and now my system is unstable im RMA'ing the mobo in case but could it be a compatibility issue with my video card i have an Nvidia Geforce FX 5700 256MB made by gigabyte ... please let me knoe if anyone knows even what the 1.5v thing means ... is that standard voltage for AGP im just trying to find out whats wrong with my comp
