wasn't sure where to post this, but anyway:

i've an dell 8300:
no idea about the motherboard
p4 3.0 800
9800p 128
2x 256 pc3200 (probably no-name ram)

using omega 4.4's, had following problem with other versions too

lot's of artifacts, yellow stripes down, blue everywhere, etc
seems to be because of overheating, or maybe the card just got fucked when i overclocked it a little some time ago. nothing's overclocked now. it dissapeares temporarily if i shut the computer down for some time before booting. easy way to make it appear is start any game, if i don't it comes anyway after some time, or right away

looked inside the case, everything seems ok
do i need better cooling? is the video card fucked?

this really sucks :(

most likely overheating or maybe your fan on the 9800 stopped spinning!

get a new video card or try to downgrade on the drivers and see if it still happens
