I have the x800xl PCI-E video card, and my stock times are 400 core and 490 mem (thats what ATI tool tells me)... anywyas, im going to use ATI Tool to OC my card for me via the "Find max core/mem clock" options.. i had a question tho, what is the highest temperature i should go "safely" under load? (it does this heatup stage to check for artifacts, i got none but iwas worried when it got to 80 celcius)

My second question is what core/mem clocks have you guys been getting successfully with the x800xl pci-E?

Third question is... on the newest ATI Tool, theres a temperature on top in Celcius and a temp on bottom in celcius, which one should i be looking at/worrying about?

i wouldnt do the auto max overclock option, i would manual raise one till you cant anymore then do the next. much better results that way. as far as temps i couldnt really give you a number as i water cool but i usualy get artifacts on 3dmark well before i overheat. always use 3dmark to test stability, not just some video.
