i see that they exist, and are a about 1/4 as expensive as dvi ones. is there any reason to go with dvi over vga other than the higher resolutions supported? thanks.
I didn't see a difference. I'm currently using a sapphire VGA displayport adapter on my Dell 2407 eyefinity setup and I can't tell them apart. I would definitely go that route if your looking to save money. I got it from newegg btw.
