I have heard of this from a couple of people that there is a way to convert RCA to vga so you can use a PS2 or whatnot on your VGA monitor.

So im looking for a single RCA connector to go to a VGA monitor that allows me to do this, anyone have an idea where I can get one?

Unfortunately an inexpensive cable or adapter won't do it, the signals in question are incompatible. You'll need a "video to vga converter" or transcoder. Also try to use the best output on the PS2 (s-video?) for better results.

Something like this: http://www.buy.com/prod/grandtec-gvc-1000-video-console/q/loc/101/10402821.html

My advice is that you purchase it from a merchant that's good with returns, in case you aren't satisfied. You could try looking on ebay for less expensive solutions but there's a better chance you'll buy a piece of junk from a merchant that is not willing to accept a return. Don't forget to look up "TV boxes" over at newegg, zipzoomfly, directron etc etc.

Thank you for help.... if it was directly for PS2 than yeah I would use a SVideo. I am mainly going to use it for GC or DC :)
