Verifying PhysX Rendered On PPU vs GPU

Hopefully this is a stupid question, but is there a way to confirm that PhysX API calls are being handled on the PPU rather than on the GPU. In the PPU settings I have set PPU as the preferred device and in the nVidia Control Panel, I have PhysX set to "auto"
 
Wiht the newest physx drivers dont support PPUs anymore, So it may not be doing anything regardless of your setting.
