Can you guys recommend me some study resources?
For those of you that have this cert how did you study for it?

Im halfway through reading the "VCP5 - VMware Certified Professional on vSphere 5 Study Guide by Brian Atkinson"

I also have the "Mastering VMware vSphere 5" by Scott Lowe

I'm enrolled in the Fast Track 5.0 class and it starts tomorrow

Think I could take the test the following week after the class or should I study more after?

IIRC (at vmworld, don't have the interface up in front of me) it's somewhat a pain to find.

Does anyone know where Virtual Hardware version 9 is?

In the vSphere Web Client, you can right-click on a VM and go to All vCenter Actions -> Compatibility - there is an option called "Schedule VM Compatibility Upgrade" (if the VM is powered on) or "Upgrade VM Compatibility" (if the VM is powered off).

And VMware is getting away from the Version 4/5/6/7/8/9 convention and moving to "Compatible With...".

So I completed the ICM 5.0 course back in March but haven't taken the VCP exam yet. If I take it in say three weeks, will I be responsible for 5.1 stuff?
