I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but would like to confirm. Does the Virtual Replication Appliance need to be the same version as the vCenter you are running? And can you replicate between two different versions?

Scenario:

Site A has vCenter 5.1 and Replication Appliance 5.1
Site B has vCenter 5.5 and Replication Appliance 5.x (I read that 5.5 doesn't replicate with 5.1, and installing 5.1 doesn't seem to connect to vCenter.)

So do all my versions need to be the same?
