I'm looking for a rheostat that will work with this fan. It's currently cooling down my CPU.

I came across this item and it looks pretty good
http://svc.com/cf205-neb-29.html

But I don’t want anything larger. So a rheostat that I can mount into a tiny hole in my computer or a pci bracket item like the one mentioned.

It just needs to accommodate these specs..

# Rated Voltage: 12V
# Rated Power: 9.1 W
# Rated Current: 0.76 Amp

Thanks

It depends on how they rate that rheostat (which is OOS right now). It says that it's 1.2 amps, which is good, but that may be (likely is) the rating for both channels total. Plenty of amperage for most fans, but not for the Tornados.

If you are gonna go the homebrew route, you can mod any old PCI slot cover into a rheostat holder with a drill and some JB Weld. It would be cheaper and do the job just as well if not better. BTW, sorry that I didn't know the wattage of the Tornados in the pm reply I sent you, I was way off but my advice remains the same.
