I have been told that this Fan Bus can control up to 6 fans. Is this true?
 
It has three channels. That means you can adjust three sets of voltages. How much stuff you hook up to each channel is up to you.
 
It has 3 channels, 18 watts per channel. Vantec says to only hook up one fan per channel, but as long as you don't hit 18w it's fine. I've hooked up 10 fans to the 4-channel NXP-205.
