What is the meaning of "inconclusive".

Like in Milkyway get quite a number of inconclusive results. But it seems it compares only with itself (or CPU vs GPU on same system ? )

the wingman is not yet ready; so it can't be compared to him.

Does that include any indication what there is something wrong with the system as GPU and CPU have different opinions on the expected outcome ?

Do I need to worry ?

No, it's just requesting a third wingman to validate the task.
 
At Milkyway, when you complete the work unit but the wingman work unit has NOT been sent yet, they say "Completed, waiting for validation". When you complete a work unit and the wingman work unit HAS been sent, they say "Completed, validation inconclusive". This to me is confusing and they should do it like WCG does.

Yep I was looking at that inconclusive designation on MilkyWay, and it just means that the wingman hasn't finished the work unit yet.
