v1000 and heatsinks

picked up a v1000b and realised people are saying a TRUE wont fit in this case facing the rear fan, and not only that it wont fit on my motherboard because the northbridge is in the way lol.

whats the next best thing that will fit ? anyone with experience ?

wow, talking about a tight fit lol.

yeah i was just looking at that too... and the big noctua one as i know it fits on my motherboard but whether it fits in the case is another question lol, i'll have to do some measuring

looks like a tuniq would fit too maybe

Yeah it depends almost entirely on your motherboard. If the socket is too close to the edge of the board, you're screwed

v1000 +120extreme +p5k dlx = fits
v1000 +120extreme +giga p35 ds2r/evga 680i a1/dfi x38 tr2 = no fit with fan blowing towards fan.

just stating what work and didnt work for myself.
