I am getting a uv reactive ide cable and uv reactive cable sleeveing. so that means there needs to be a uv light in the case for them to give off there glow. is there any Blue UV lights....kinda a dumb question but hey you never know.

also i was just going to get a UV cold cathode kit, will that do the job for the cables
 
UV lights are black lights. It is same kind of light that makes a white T-shirt turn purple. If you bought blue reactive UV cables, when you turn on your UV CCFL's, the cable will glow blue. The same would apply to green or red reactive UV cables......once the UV CCFL is on, it will glow in the designated color.
 
No its impossible to have blue UV lights, and yes a UV cold cathode kit would do it. If you want blue, get a UV CCFL and a blue one?
 
if you some how found a blue led with a very close wave length (maby 20 nm off) then it would be a deep purplish blue light that would set off uv sensitive items right? im pretty sue blue and uv border each other on the spectrum... good luck finding leds with those properties though :p
