Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I'm wanting to run an HDMI cable to my TV from my computer in addition to my monitors. Since my card doesn't have an HDMI cable but my mobo does, will the iGPU be what's handling the signal or will the graphic card?
You can use the Lucid Virtu stuff (if the mobo supports it) to use the non integrated graphics for rendering and have it output via the mobo HDMI. It works kinda like enduro/optimus.
I've got the Maximus V Extreme. After flipping though the manual I found where it has LucidLogix Virtu MVP. I'm still a little unclear between the i-mode and d-mode thing, but I should be able to play around and figure it out. I've got to wait for a longer HDMI cable to arrive so I can do a little trial and error.
Since this is all software based changes, would it be better for me to just use a mini-DP to HDMI converter on the card itself?
