Using foreign software liscences

Does anyone know if there are any ramifications for using software that's meant for another country? Specifically, Adobe Production Studio CS2, I saw a pretty good deal, well, REALLY good deal on it, but the software is the Japanese version and I don't know what that ultimately means.

If anyone knows anything about this kind of stuff, it'd be really helpful. (I might try to post this in the general software thread as well)

That's the thing, after going through the EULA, it doesn't appear to address WHERE the program can be used. It just says something about 'if the software was purchased in japan, then japanese laws apply', or something to that effect, with much greater degrees of legalese involved. I think I may try contacting adobe directly.
