My roommate picked up the remains of a XPS700 left in the trash yesterday and isn't too bad of condition. It's completely useless as a computer tower has it's heavy, BTX, and poorly ventilated. Plus, I just got a HAF X three days ago. I do love the exterior design of the XPS700 though.
Originally going discreet water cooling by stuffing the HAF X with everything inside but even this monster of a case has limited space inside. So why not place radiators, reservoir, and pump inside the XPS700 case?
My future build thus far:
Sandy Bridge 4-core (maybe 2600K)
16GB DDR3 1600
SLI two mid-range GPU's (final decision on model this Feb.)
SSD boot drive
RAID 1 2TB HHD
Enermax 1000w (semi) modular
HAF X
ASUS 27" 2ms monitor (may go for two more but one already take up 3/4th of my desk)
The only problem would be getting the right water pump since the amount of coolant and distance is excessive. Opinions?
