USB Parallel port adapter

I have an IBM 4019 laser printer that I'd like to connect via USB. I've been having trouble finding compatibility lists for the USB-parallel adapters I've encountered. Should I be worried about compatibility with my printer if I pick a given USB-parallel adapter?

edit: By the way, it uses the Enhanced PCL Level 5 Language.

I have hooked a few lasers up with a usb parallel adapter. My HP Laserjet 2100M is hooked up with some generic adapter. I would go to a local store that sells the adapters, check the return policy and start with a brand you know. And hopefully the store it close to home.
