Tried to use it for the first time and nothing seems to work. All the drivers seem to be there, I have no errors under Device Manager. I have the USB Legacy thing ENABLED in my BIOS. I even tried a second USB device and still nothing seems to work. I tried all 6 of my ports, (2 front, 4 back) and it's all the same.

sorry I don't know how to check most of that.

512 RAM
P4, 2.8 Ghz processor

Thoughts:

1) I would just check that your drivers are correct and check in the BIOS that all settings are correct.

2) If you bought this computer already assembled perhaps you could place a call to the manufacturer for help?

3) Did you try your USB device on another computer to see if the device may be the issue? Perhaps this device needs a seperate set of drivers to work correctly.

Well I had an extra mouse that is USB and that didn't work either. So it has to be something wrong with my USB, not the mp3 player. Bought the computer at one of those computer stores that builds it's own systems. Drivers all seem to be fine, no problems show up in Device manager, and in BIOS the only thing I notice with USB is the Legacy thing and it's enabled.
