I have an older laptop here at work. When inserting a USB flash drive in the USB port it starts the install and asks to search for drivers. We have many identical machines to this and it only happens on this laptop. Then I search for drivers in the I386 folder and boom it installs the usbstor.inf file and it works fine from now on. Then when I try to insert a different USB flash drive it does the same thing. Oh, btw, it's a WIN2k machine. Laptop is an HP Omnibook XE3-GC. Any ideas? thanks!!!
Edit: I am mainly asking because it won't let non-admins do the drive install.
