I just bought a Netgear WG111 and installed it in my Shuttle ST61G4B.
It gets awesome connectivity, better than the PCI Wireless-G Linksys adapter I gave to my recently graduated from college and broke as hell older brother, but only for about 10 minutes. I wouldnt have a problem with momentary lapses of reason i mean conection, but whenever it stops, it sort of seems like it messes up the USB ports on my computer. I have an mx310 mouse connected to a different USBport, and whnever the adapter loses connectivity, it makes my mouse stop. not instantly,. but when i go to the wireless network icon to repair it, it seems like my system hangs momentarily and then my mouse just stops. i can still get places using shortcut commands, but when i give the command to restart, it logs off and saves my settings but then stalls on the windows is shutting down screen. so i have to push the button in for 5 seconds to make the computer power off. I hate having to do that because it makes me feel like i am hurting it by turning it off like that.
anyways, does anybody else have this problem with a similar product?
