Okay, I know this has nothing to do with computers, but people on these forums are just more informed than the stupid as **** internet. I've recently been seeing dvd player upscan converters on the market, ranging from about $150 - $400. Two questions: A.) What are the real world gains on upscan technology. I have a sony 50in hdtv rear projection LCD that I am currently using with a progressive scan dvd player. Will I notice a huge difference? B.) What is HDMI? I've noticed the female out on these dvd players is smaller than DVI, what is the difference between HDMI and DVI. The price difference is about $200, with the DVI being more expensive. Thanks
