With the specs in my sig... for how long would a 2000VA UPS be able to keep my computer running?

I'd say 45 minutes. My Dell Dimension 4400 2.6 ghz P4 400FSB that I use for surfing and emails is coasting along at only 94 watts. That's with a 200GB and a 120GB HD and a Radeon 9200 with passive cooling. The 700VA APC says this gives me 41 minutes of battery power. Now that's with just the computer, no monitor.

Really for what you're describing 2000VA is overkill. Besides that, it's going to pull more than 15 amps which is what your normal home 110 V line is running. Now if you're running 230 V that's another story. With a 110 V line you're going to run the risk of tripping the house circuit breaker if you max out the UPS. IMO a 1500VA UPS is plenty.
