I have been trying to read through the entirety of this forum to learn to the best of my ability so I am sorry if this post irritates anyone.
I am at a complete loss as to what type/size of UPS I need for my new setup, as this is the first home built PC I have ever attempted to put together. Where I live there are frequent brown outs and at least 1 power outage per month. If anyone could be of assistance, it would be greatly appreciated. Im looking for something that can provide a constant steady supply of power as well as ~10 minutes of run time, so the computer can be properly shut down. Thank you in advance.
Brand wise was looking into APC they seem to be the best quality UPS?
Current hardware:
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-X48T-DQ6
GPU: EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX
PSU: ZALMAN ZM750-HP (750W)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11
RAM: OCZ Reaper HPC 4GB
LCD: BenQ G2400W 24"
Two 120mm case fans and a ZALMAN CPU Fan/Heatsink combo.
Inkjet printer and speakers I would like to be able to surge protect.
