Im upgrading my old Dell Dimension 8250's PSU. I have a real nice laptop but i like to play games and my laptop runs too hot and its to risky for me so now im getting a new video card for my old desktop. The VC needs a 350+ PSU to run good. My desktop currentily has a 250W psu. Im buying from newegg and there are so many choices to pick from. I have no idea what will work in my computer. How do i know if it will fit - how do i know if it will work with the hardware alredy in the comp. Also whats a good reliable brand to buy. money is no problem - Please give me a sugested link to a Good psu that will work in my desktop from newegg. Let me know if you need to know any system specs.

Thanks a lot for the help!

AFAIK the 8250 is a standard pinout....the backplane though might be wonky and need modifying.

And yes we need system specs.
