So I'm finally upgrading my ViewSonic CRT monitor for an LCD screen. I'm looking for a a screen that will keep up with heavy fps gaming that includes, CoD, CoD4, CS, CS:S, and BF2. I don't want to spend over $200 but I will go to $220 max. Any suggestions? Here are some I found but keep in mind I have no idea what to look for in LCD monitors lol.

ASUS VH226H Black 21.5

BenQ G2410HD Gray 23.6
LG W2253TQ-PF Black 21.5

For fast-paced FPS all 60 Hz LCD panels like these you list will be a downgrade from a decent CRT as the refresh is so much lower (60 Hz vs 90+). If you can accept the negative impact this will have on your performance and you don't make money in competitions, go ahead. I'd choose true 120 Hz (not interpolated) LCDs over 60 Hz ones, though, but that's just my opinion :)

My current monitor is alright it only goes up to 85Hz so I don't think it would be a massive downgrade. All I'm looking for is 0 ghosting with decent picture.

CRTs have <1 ms response time on individual pixels. For LCDs it's 2+ ms at best. You will have more ghosting with an LCD, although you may not really notice it. No matter what, image-wise going from a CRT to an LCD is a downgrade. Whether you can live with it or not is up to you.

In that case I'd go with a Dell 2209WA. It will do 75hz, and in my experience, is actually better for fps gaming than "2ms" TN Panel lcds that only run at 60hz. The extra 15hz actually seem to make a very big difference in terms of smoothness in games, especially FPS games, and is even very noticeable when scrolling through a web page, or how smooth my mouse cursor appears to move across the screen. An IPS panel is also going to be closest to a CRT in picture quality also, as far as viewing angles and such go.

Ghosting hasn't been an issue for LCDs for several years. Not an issue I'd worry about.

Color reproduction, especially in the extreme light and darks have been. TN panels especially, which are going to be the only thing in your price range, suffer from some weird mirrory type effects and generally can't make out the image at all in dark games or movies. VA and IPS panels do much better with picture quality and are generally very usable, don't suffer from the weird mirrory effect, etc. I saw on engadget I think about a new Viewsonic 23" IPS that might be in your price range IIRC.

I'd highly recommend you find something locally to test out so it won't be a hassle to return if you don't like it for whatever reason.

Dell also has a really good return policy, unlike newegg and many online stores and today their one day only deal is a $170 23" LCD, TN panel... but would not significantly be either better or worse than any other TN panels like what you posted.
