I have a 6800NU 128MB along with a AMD 64 3000+ 754 CPU.

Which would be better to upgrade? I could get a 3700+ CPU or should I get a better video card? Which would I benefit from the most?

Thanks,

ok, things to consider -
the 3000+ is a decent performer still - can you overclock it? If so, even less need to replace...
The ATI and Nvidia updates should be announced June/July - which lowers the prices on the older cards...(NOTE: the new Nvidia chip has been announced at the Computex computer show...)
Another thing to look at is whether/not the 6800nu you have can be overclocked or is one of those that can be unlocked :

If either or both are true - no need to upgrade -
if neither are true - you still dont need to upgrade as of yet.
One thing of interest - Epox is supposed to come out with a NF4 based 754 socket motherboard soon - also supposed to be SLI in nature -

Also note ATI is coming out with their version of SLI too... and Nvidia, in response is lowering the NF4 chipset price...
So a wait and see will prolly be the best idea right now...
And strangely enough, a motherboard upgrade might actually be an option for you.
