Hello all,
I hope this is the right forum, but does anyone know if the PSU in a one year old Gateway 700X can be upgraded? I currently have a 250W Delta/Astec PSU and I don’t believe this will handle the new cards very well.

If it can be upgraded, does anyone have a suggestion for a reliable PSU that might work with my system?

Specs...
CPU: Pentium IV 2.0GHz
Motherboard: Intel (Lexington) MB R1
Memory: 512MB PC800 256BIT RIMM
Case: Gateway 910 Server Chassis R2

Picture of the PSU in the case

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated! :)

Take care,
Luke

I think the only OEM company that uses nonstandard power supplies is Dell, so I think your'e fine and you can use any standard ATX PSU.

An Antec Truepower 380 or 430 will be nice, as well as Fortron PSUs.
